What is an I-94?
The I-94 is a number that non-immigrants, or visitors, to the United States receive when they enter the country. Almost every time someone applies for change of status, extension, or adjustment of status, the I-94 is required.
The most recent I-94 admission record can be printed and used as evidence of a lawful admission.
When you receive your I-94, you also receive a date by which you are required to leave the country. If you do not know your I-94 or the date, you can obtain that information here. To complete the form, you must be able to enter your full name, date of birth, passport country of issuance, and passport number.
